Ingredients

butter

sirloin steak cut into cubes

diced onion

ounces
white mushrooms
sliced

tsp
minced garlic
1
tsp
dried thyme
1
tsp
Sea Salt
1/2
tsp
fresh ground black pepper
1
cup
beef broth
1
tbsp
dijon mustard
1
cup
Heavy Cream
1/2
cup
sour cream
1/4
tsp
ground nutmeg
Instructions
Heat butter to medium-high heat in a large skillet.
Season the steak with salt and pepper.
Add the meat to the pan, and cook for 3 to 4 minutes, until browned. Remove from the pan and allow to rest.
Add the onion, mushrooms, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper to the pan. Cook for 5 minutes, until the onion has softened. Reduce heat to medium.
Add broth, heavy cream, and mustard Dijon mustard and cook for 5 to 8 minutes, until thickened. Whisk.
Return the beef to the pan, add nutmeg and simmer for 5 more minutes.
Stir in sour cream and cook until heated through, being careful not to allow it to boil.
