  • 4 pork chopsboneless
  • 1 lemon juice
  • 4tbsp butter
  • 2 garlic clovesmashed
  • 1 garlic clovesminced
  • 1tsp sweet paprika
  • 1/4tsp cumin
  • 1/2tsp Black Pepper
  • 2tbsp olive oil
  • 2cup brown mushroomssliced
  • 1/4cup chicken stock
  1. Season the boneless pork chops with salt, pepper, and fresh lemon juice. Set aside.
  2. Start combining smoked paprika, cumin, and olive oil in a small bowl.
  3. Rub pork chops with the previous mixture. Heat a large frying pan to medium-high or high heat (hot enough to sear the meat).
  4. Add butter and the two crushed garlic cloves to the pan.
  5. Put the pork chops in the pan. Make sure they are not crowding each other too much. There should be space between the chops in the pan or the meat will steam and not sear properly.
  6. Sear the pork chops, about 2 minutes on each side. Watch carefully, as soon as the chops are browned, flip them. When l you see juice oozing out of the top of the chop, it is definitely done.
  7. Remove chops onto a plate and set aside. Discard crushed garlic. Add butter to the skillet and melt. Add minced garlic and mushrooms.
  8. Add 1/4 cup of chicken stock and stir in with mushrooms.
  9. Add pork chops back to skillet. Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes. Serve with zucchini noodles, brussels sprouts or mashed cauliflower.
